This Handmade Thuya Wood Burl Folding Backgammon Board is a true expression of Moroccan artistry, where timeless gameplay meets exceptional craftsmanship. Carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans, each board is made from rare Thuya wood burl sourced from the Atlas Mountains, then cut, assembled, sanded, and polished entirely by hand using traditional techniques. The result is a one-of-a-kind piece that functions as both a luxury game set and an elegant decorative object.
The rich swirling burl grain, warm natural tones, and smooth polished finish make every board unique, turning each game into an experience surrounded by art, heritage, and creativity. When folded, it displays beautifully on a coffee table, office shelf, or game room, and when opened it reveals a refined playing surface perfect for memorable matches with family and friends.
